It is a soft, lightweight polyester piece printed to order in the USA, using surfboard art we draw in-house in Pennsylvania, and it comes without grommets, so plan on clips, clamps or pins.

Choose the size by the spot. Small tucks behind the high chair at cake smash time, Medium spans a cake or dessert table, Large covers a patio wall or the side of a party room, and XL makes a full photo wall where grandparents and every cousin fit in one shot.

The pastel boards pair easily with first birthday decorations in aqua, butter yellow and white, such as a balloon garland over one corner, paper leis and a little surfboard cake topper. Every Event Walrus backdrop is printed on soft, lightweight polyester fabric, so it folds small for shipping and hangs flat once it is up.

  • Small: 36 x 26 inches (3 x 2.2 feet), for a high chair or a cake smash
  • Medium: 60 x 50 inches (5 x 4.2 feet), for a dessert or gift table
  • Large: 80 x 68 inches (6.7 x 5.7 feet), for the wall behind the party
  • XL: 104 x 88 inches (8.7 x 7.3 feet), for a full family photo wall

Hanging: grommets and hanging holes are not included. On a backdrop stand, use clamps or clips. On a wall, use pins, tacks, command strips or tape.

Wrinkles and care: steam out any creases from shipping before the party. Machine wash cold on the gentle cycle, tumble dry low or line dry, no bleach, and do not iron.

Every backdrop is printed after you order, which takes 2 to 5 business days. It then ships by standard ground shipping and usually arrives 3 to 5 business days later. A backdrop and shirts in the same order may arrive in separate packages.
