These big wave the big one adult shirts put every grown-up at a surf first birthday in an It's the Big One Mama shirt, Papa shirt or Nana shirt of their own. A tall watercolor wave curls over in deep ocean blue, sky blue and white foam, It's the Big One! loops across the crest in black handwritten script, and the name stands in bold black capitals along the bottom of the swell.

Adults wear a 100% cotton unisex tee by Bella + Canvas, XS to 4X; we paint the wave in-house in Pennsylvania, and each order gets printed in the USA, wave and all, in water-based inks.

Mama and Papa tend to be the first two names chosen, and the menu runs to 24 family names, Mommy, Dada, Mimi, Titi, Tio and the godparents included. A Great Aunt, a Grandpap or whatever the cousins call your mother-in-law can go in Custom family name.

The deep blues suit an ocean, surf or beach first birthday, and they read strong in photos at the water or in a backyard with a kiddie pool. Since the grown-ups hold the birthday boy for most of the pictures, matching wave shirts make the cake table and the family shot look planned. Every shirt is printed after you order, which takes 2 to 5 business days. It then ships by standard ground shipping and usually arrives 3 to 5 business days later. Orders with several shirts may arrive in separate packages.

Each design comes on the shirt colors we chose for it, usually white, or white and black. We pick those colors because the design prints with enough contrast to show up clearly.
