This hot air balloon Mr Onederful backdrop gives a little boy's first birthday one beautiful place for the cake, the candle and every family picture. A dusty blue watercolor hot air balloon, striped and dotted with a small woven basket, stands in for the O, a little script "mr" floats above it, tall slate-blue letters finish ONE, and "derful" sweeps underneath in loose handwriting, all set over soft white and pale blue watercolor clouds.

It is printed to order in the USA on soft, lightweight polyester fabric, from artwork drawn in-house in Pennsylvania, and grommets are not included, so it hangs with simple clips or pins.

Choose the size for where it will hang. The Small fits neatly behind a high chair for the cake smash, the Medium covers a dessert or gift table, the Large fills the wall behind the party, and the XL makes a full photo wall big enough for grandparents, siblings and the birthday boy in one picture.

The soft blues pair well with a balloon garland in dusty blue, white and cream, a few paper hot air balloons and white hydrangeas, and the design is the same one on the family's Mr Onederful shirts, so the backdrop and the outfits match in every photo. It ships folded, so give it a few minutes with a steamer before the party.

Frequently asked questions

What size Mr Onederful backdrop do I need for a cake smash?

The Small, 36 by 26 inches, fills the space behind a high chair. For a cake smash on the floor, or with siblings in the shot, the Medium or Large gives more room.

Does the hot air balloon backdrop come with grommets?

No. Hang it with clips or clamps on a backdrop stand, or with pins, tacks or command strips on a wall.

Will the backdrop arrive wrinkled?

It ships folded, so expect a few creases. A handheld steamer smooths them out in minutes; please don't iron it.

Are there matching Mr Onederful shirts for the family?

Yes. The same hot air balloon design comes as adult, kids, toddler and baby shirts, with Mr Onederful on the birthday boy's bodysuit.
