The woodland animals design
At the center is a round slice of a tree trunk, its rings drawn in pale cream and tan, ringed with dark bark. Trailing eucalyptus and small leafy vines wrap almost all the way around it. Along the top, a red fox curls up on the left, a spotted fawn with tiny antlers sits in the middle, and a gray raccoon with a striped tail leans in on the right. Along the bottom, a brown bear waves one paw, a little owl peeks up and a pale bunny with tall ears stands beside it.
The words are lettered in black on the wood. The birthday child's version reads I'm the wild one, with a serif I'm the over a flowing script wild one whose last letter trails into a long swash. Everyone else's puts their title on top in tall serif capitals, then a small of the, then the same script, so the shirts read MOM of the wild one, DAD of the wild one and SISTER of the wild one. Because the wood slice keeps its light color, the lettering reads clearly on black tees as well as white.
Plenty of parents tuck the birthday bodysuit into a memory box with the cake topper, and the grown-ups often pull their tees out again for fall walks and the one-year photo session.

Planning a woodland Wild One first birthday
This is a theme you can mostly gather from a walk outside. Wood slices make easy cake stands and table numbers, pinecones and acorns fill bowls on the tables, and eucalyptus garlands run down the middle of the food table. Lanterns or a string of warm lights give the party a campfire glow, and a few small stuffed foxes and bears tucked among the dishes echo the shirts.
The menu can lean into the forest too: a naked cake dusted with powdered sugar and topped with tiny animal figures, a smash cake with a single woodland friend on top, trail mix in paper bags and s'mores bars. A tent or teepee in the corner gives toddlers somewhere to hide out between games. Invitations with a fox or bear, a welcome sign painted on a wood round and a guest book where everyone signs a paper leaf for a family tree carry the theme from the front door to the cake. A basket of mini pinecones can even double as favors.
For photos, set up near the cake with greenery behind it, or take the family outside to the edge of a yard or park. A forest party and these earthy colors look best in natural light, and the animals on every shirt tie the group together.
What the family wears to the forest party
An easy plan is the parents and grandparents in black with jeans and boots, and the birthday baby in a white bodysuit, which makes the guest of honor easy to spot in every picture. Big kids can go either way. If you prefer one color for everyone, white feels like spring and black feels like autumn. At a cool fall party, an open flannel over the black tee looks cozy and still shows the design.
Ask guests to wear greens, browns, creams or flannel, and the whole party will look like it stepped out of the same woods.
Sizing for the whole family
Each shirt's final photo is a size chart measured in inches. The adult tee has a relaxed unisex cut, so many women go down a size for a closer fit and men who want room go up one. For the baby, compare a bodysuit that fits right now with the chart. Most babies at their first birthday fit 12 or 18 months. Between two sizes, the bigger one wins.
Ordering for a big family
Everyone's shirt can go into one cart: put in one shirt, switch the name, color and size, then put in the next. All apparel in your cart adds up for the family savings, which apply at checkout without a code.
Printing begins after your order and takes 2 to 5 business days. Then standard ground shipping needs roughly 3 to 5 business days more, so two weeks ahead is a good target. Need them by a certain date? Send a request and we'll try to help.
Other designs for this theme are in our Wild One birthday shirts, and you can see every party theme in birthday family shirts.
