The pink elephant design
The elephant is painted in soft gray watercolor, with big floppy ears washed pink on the inside, rosy cheeks, long dark lashes and a curling trunk. A crown of peach and blush roses with tiny white blossoms and eucalyptus sits on her head, and she rests in a low bed of the same roses. A second spray of roses, small yellow buds and greenery cascades down the right side, and a pale pink watercolor wash fills the space behind. The tiny buds tucked among the roses add a touch of warm yellow that catches the eye in photos.
Above her, Wild One is written in a tall, thin black script, with the O of One looping into the d of Wild. The birthday girl's version starts with a small I'm the in clean black letters, so it reads I'm the Wild One. Family shirts put the title on top in bold black serif capitals, followed by a small of the: MOMMY of the Wild One, PAPA of the Wild One or COUSIN of the Wild One. The lettering stays crisp against the pastel flowers on the white tee.

Planning a pink elephant Wild One party
An elephant first birthday sits nicely between a safari party and a garden party. Take your colors from the shirts: blush pink, peach, cream, sage and soft gray. A balloon garland in those shades with a few gray balloons tucked in, a table runner of eucalyptus and fresh peach roses in bud vases set the scene with very little work. A small elephant cake topper or a stuffed elephant on the cake table ties the decorations back to the shirts.
For treats, try a cream cake with piped roses, a pink smash cake with a single sugar flower, strawberry and peach fruit cups and pink lemonade. Animal crackers in little paper bags make an easy favor that fits the theme. Measurements in inches are on a size chart, the final photo on each shirt. Adult tees are cut loose and unisex; a woman wanting a snug fit can drop one size, and a man who likes room can add one. To size the birthday girl, measure a bodysuit she wears today and check it on the chart. Girls at their first birthday are usually in 12 or 18 months.
