The palm tree beach design
This design packs a full day at the beach onto a shirt. A pale sandy sun sits at the top right beside a soft blue watercolor cloud, with a few gray seagulls gliding past. Two green palm trees rise on either side of the lettering, two watercolor surfboards lean together at the lower left, one striped in orange, yellow and blue and one blue with a small sun on it, and a turquoise wave breaks across the bottom.
In the middle, The Big One is set in a bubbly retro script: The and One in turquoise, Big in a deeper ocean blue, and the tail of the e sweeping out like a wave. The birthday boy's version adds a small blue I'm, so it reads I'm The Big One. Family shirts move the title to the top in turquoise script, over the cloud, then a tiny of, so Dad's reads Daddy of The Big One and a big sister's reads Sister of The Big One.
Matching palm tree shirts for every age
The beach scene carries from the oldest guest to the youngest:
- Palm tree The Big One adult shirts, unisex XS through 4X, so every grown-up from Daddy to Godmother has a title.
- Palm tree The Big One kids shirts: big brothers, big sisters and cousins wear them in youth S to XL.
- Palm tree The Big One toddler shirts, 2T through 5T, for the toddlers in the family, the birthday boy included if he has moved up a size.
- The palm tree The Big One baby bodysuit and tee, newborn through 24 months, for the birthday boy himself and any baby cousins.
The Name menu offers 24 family titles, Daddy, Mama, Mimi, Nanny, Pop Pop, Tio and Godmother among them, and I'm The Big One for the birthday boy. If a grandparent goes by Lolo, Abuela or another name we don't list, Custom family name covers it.
Planning a palm tree surf first birthday
A beach or surfs up first birthday borrows its colors straight from these shirts. Pull the turquoise, the marigold of the surfboard stripes and plenty of white for the balloons, then add green from the palms with a few paper palm leaves on the tables. A luau or tropical first birthday fits the same palette, so leis, pineapples and a grass skirt table cover work right alongside the surf theme.
Build the photo spot around the cake table. The palm tree The Big One backdrop shows the same palms, sun, gulls and wave, so the wall and the shirts read as one scene. String lights above it and a balloon arch in teal, marigold and white over one side make it feel like an evening at the beach, and the high chair for the cake smash goes right in front.
Keep the menu beachy and easy: pineapple and watermelon on skewers, mini sandwiches cut with a surfboard cookie cutter, blue lemonade and cupcakes with a little palm tree pick in each. Small sand pails filled with bubbles and sunglasses make favors the cousins will use the next day.
What the family wears to the beach party
A simple outfit plan: Mommy and Daddy in palm tree shirts and denim shorts, older kids in their Sister and Brother tees with sandals or water shoes, and the birthday boy in his bodysuit at cake smash time, switching into the baby tee and swim trunks for the splash pad. Grandparents and godparents add their own titles, and every matching shirt makes the family picture under the palms look planned.
All of the palm tree shirts are white, the color this beach scene was drawn for. White leaves room for the soft cloud and the sandy sun and keeps the turquoise letters bright from across the yard.
Palm tree shirt sizes, Grandpa to baby
Each shirt's size chart, measured in inches, comes last among its photos. Grown-up tees have an easygoing unisex fit: your normal size feels easy, a size down feels closer, and a size up gives a loose beach look. Big kids wear youth S to XL; the toddler tees go from 2T to 5T. For the birthday boy, lay a bodysuit that fits him today against the chart; for a one-year-old that usually means 12 or 18 months, and the larger one gives him room when he falls between two.
Ordering palm tree shirts for the whole crew
Every family member's shirt can share a single cart. Choose a shirt, set the name, size and style, add it, then change the name and add the next, until everyone has their own title. All apparel in your cart is counted for the family savings, and checkout subtracts them for you.
Every palm tree shirt is printed once you order, a job of 2 to 5 business days; after that, standard ground shipping usually brings it in 3 to 5 more, so about two weeks gives you breathing room before the beach party. The backdrop prints to order on the same timeline.
