The Hey Boo Boo-Day design
The lettering is pure retro fun. Hey is written in a fat, curvy lavender script, and BOO! below it is set in round, puffy pink letters with a pink exclamation point. I'm the follows in a dark plum serif, then BOO-DAY in pink block letters and Girl in a matching pink. Around the words, little white ghosts wear black witch hats, one rides a tiny broom and another waves from the bottom corner. A purple spider dangles near the top, wrapped candies, candy corn, a swirly lollipop and a candy cane are scattered about, and a potion bottle, a pink heart, pink and orange pumpkins, a striped balloon, a skull balloon, stars and a small black bat fill the gaps.
The birthday girl's bodysuit or tee reads Hey BOO! I'm the BOO-DAY Girl. Family shirts change the last line to BOO-DAY Girl's and finish with a title in big lavender retro script, so the grown-ups wear Mama, Daddy or Grandma under the words and the kids wear Sister, Brother or Cousin.

Planning a pink and purple Boo-Day party
A Boo-Day party in pink and purple is Halloween for little girls who love sparkle more than spooks. Pull the colors straight from the shirts: pink, lavender, plum and white, with a few orange pumpkins for contrast. Paint small pumpkins pink and purple, hang paper bats and ghosts in lavender and white, and build a balloon garland with pink, purple and clear balloons and a few witch hats tucked in. A sign reading Hey Boo or Our Little Boo-Day Girl makes the cake table a photo spot.

Each Boo-Day shirt shows its chart, in inches, as the last photo. Adult Boo-Day tees are relaxed and unisex: most grown-ups take their usual size, and one size up layers easily over a long sleeve. A first Boo-Day girl usually wears 12 or 18 months. The bodysuits run a touch roomy.
