The Four Ever Wild design
FOUR leads the design in wide brush capitals, each letter its own shade: teal, lime green, deep slate and pale aqua. Under it, EVER sits in small chocolate brown letters, and then wild sweeps across the middle in a big gold script filled with leopard spots. The animals frame the words like a jungle wreath. A cheetah sits at the top left in a blue party hat, a chimpanzee hangs from a vine at the top right, a zebra peeks out of dried brown leaves, a sloth clings to a branch, a leopard stands at the lower left and a lion lounges along the bottom between big monstera leaves.
The birthday child's shirt stops at FOUR EVER wild, with no name, so the lion rests right under the gold script. Everyone else's shirt adds a name below wild in tall teal capitals, so Dad's reads FOUR EVER wild DADDY and the baby's reads FOUR EVER wild BABY. The colors are earthy and bright at once, and they work just as well for a boy as for a girl.
Matching Four Ever Wild shirts for every age
The same art comes in four styles, so the family photo lines up from tallest to smallest:
- Four Ever Wild safari adult shirts for Mom, Dad, grandparents, aunts, uncles and godparents, sized XS to 4X.
- Four Ever Wild safari kids shirts for big brothers, big sisters, cousins and a tall birthday child, youth S to XL.
- Four Ever Wild safari toddler shirts, 2T to 5T, where most four-year-olds find the Birthday Kid shirt.
- The Four Ever Wild safari baby bodysuit and tee for a baby brother, sister or cousin, newborn to 24 months.
Grown-ups choose from 24 family names, including Mommy, Daddy, Gigi, Pop Pop, Tio and Godmother. The children's styles offer Birthday Kid, Sister, Brother, Cousin and Friend, and the baby styles add Baby. A title missing from the list, such as Great Grandpa or a pet name the family uses, goes in Custom family name.
Planning a Four Ever Wild safari party
Safari parties come together quickly because the decorations are things kids already love: toy animals, leaves and a little bit of adventure. Pull your colors straight from the shirts, sage and teal with touches of mustard, brown and leopard print, and a balloon garland woven with paper palm leaves will cover most of the room.
The same plan works for a zoo birthday party. Set out small toy giraffes, lions and elephants along the snack table, label the food with animal names, and give each guest a pair of paper binoculars and a map for a stuffed-animal hunt in the yard. A cake with a small herd of animals on top, or cupcakes with leopard-spot frosting, keeps the theme going at dessert. Animal crackers in small paper bags make a cheap favor the kids can snack on during the hunt.
For the photo spot, the Four Ever Wild safari backdrop carries the same animals and lettering as the shirts, so it makes a natural wall behind the cake table, and every picture of the family in their shirts looks planned.
What to wear to a four ever wild birthday
Keep it simple: each person in their named tee with jeans, shorts or a denim skirt, and sneakers for running around the backyard. The birthday child can add a khaki explorer hat or a pair of toy binoculars, and the younger kids look sweet with animal ears on a headband.
White is the only shirt color here. The watercolor fur, the leaves and the gold spots all keep their detail on white, and the teal names stay easy to read from across the room.
Some photos families like with this theme:
- The birthday child holding up four fingers in front of the cake.
- The whole family in a row by height, names facing the camera.
- The siblings on their stomachs in the grass with their binoculars, mid-safari.
Sizing for the whole family
A chart with measurements in inches closes out every listing's photos. Adult tees fit relaxed and unisex; go down one size for a closer fit and up one for a looser look. Four-year-olds mostly take 4T or 5T; measure a shirt that fits now against the chart, and choose the larger size when they fall between two. Babies in bodysuits usually take the size printed on what they wear today, and older brothers and sisters from about age six move into the youth S to XL kids tees.
Ordering for a big family
Shop for the entire family in a single cart: add a shirt, pick a new name, color and size, then add another, one for each person. The more shirts you add, the bigger the family savings; they count all apparel in your cart and drop off at checkout without a code.
Your shirts go to print when the order comes through, a step of 2 to 5 business days, then the safari crew heads your way by standard ground shipping, normally arriving 3 to 5 business days after it leaves; give it about two weeks in all. Need them by a certain date? Send a request and we'll try to help.
