The Christmas cookie Sweet One design
The treats make a busy, cheerful frame around the words. In the top left a gingerbread man wears a red bow tie, beside him sits a green iced star cookie, and a stack of chocolate chip cookies tied with blue ribbon fills the top right corner. A reindeer cookie with a red nose peeks in from the right, a red stocking full of candy hangs on the left, and a glass of milk with a striped straw, a peppermint lollipop, a wrapped gift, a candy cane, a green tree cookie and star and snowflake cookies finish the border. Tiny sprinkles in red, green, blue and brown are scattered everywhere.
In the middle, the birthday baby's version reads I'm the in dark gray, Sweet in a bold retro coral red, and One in icy blue, with a round blue snowflake cookie standing in for the O. For the rest of the family, a title in big coral red capitals takes the place of I'm the, with a small of the underneath, so the shirts read MAMA of the Sweet One, DADDY of the Sweet One and SISTER of the Sweet One.
It is a joyful design for a baby whose birthday comes with Christmas. The family can wear the shirts to the party and then again for cookie baking, the tree lighting or a holiday card.
Christmas cookie Sweet One shirts for every age
There are four styles of shirt in this design:
- Christmas cookie Sweet One adult shirts in unisex sizes XS to 4X, for parents and grandparents and every aunt, uncle and godparent.
- Christmas cookie Sweet One kids shirts in youth S through XL, for big sisters, brothers and school-age cousins.
- Christmas cookie Sweet One toddler shirts, made in 2T to 5T, for little brothers, sisters and cousins, and the birthday child if already in toddler clothes.
- The Christmas cookie Sweet One baby bodysuit, newborn and up, and a matching baby tee for the birthday baby and baby cousins.
On the Name menu are 24 family titles, Mommy, Dada, Mimi, Nanny, Titi and Godmother among them, plus I'm The Sweet One for the baby. Great Grandpa, Lola or a nickname can be printed through Custom family name.
Planning a Christmas cookie Sweet One party
A Sweet One first birthday at Christmas practically plans itself around cookies. Set up a decorating station with sugar cookies in star, tree and snowflake shapes, bowls of red, green and blue sprinkles and squeeze bottles of icing, and let the guests decorate a cookie to take home. Leave a cookie plate and a little milk bottle out for Santa as a photo prop, and hang a few stockings on the wall behind the cake table.
Decorate in the shirts' colors: coral red, icy blue, green and warm cookie brown. A balloon garland in red, light blue and green with a few white balloons, paper snowflakes, a gingerbread house on the dessert table and a sign reading Sweet One make the room festive. A gingerbread cake or a white cake covered in sprinkles makes a perfect centerpiece, with a little smash cake topped with a cookie for the baby.
For favors, wrap two cookies in cellophane with a red and blue ribbon and a tag that says Thanks for celebrating our Sweet One.
What the family wears
The grown-ups can wear their titled tees with jeans or red plaid pajama pants for a cozy holiday look, which is how the family in our photos styled them. Big kids can do the same, and grandparents might add a red cardigan. The birthday baby looks adorable in the bodysuit with red plaid pants or a tutu, and a little Santa hat for one or two pictures.
Ask guests to come in red, green or plaid so the whole party feels like Christmas morning. Matching plaid pajama pants for the whole family, worn with the shirts, make the cutest group photo of the day.
Sizing for everyone
Every shirt ends with a size chart photo, with measurements in inches. Adult tees have a relaxed unisex fit: keep your usual size, go down for a trimmer look or go up to layer over a turtleneck. For the baby, a one-year-old typically wears 12 or 18 months, so take a bodysuit that fits now, find it on the chart, and pick the larger size when in doubt.
Ordering for a big family
Everyone's shirts can be ordered together in one cart. Add a shirt, then pick a new name and size and add another, and keep going. Family savings come off at checkout and include all apparel in your cart.
