Planning a little pumpkin farm party
A pumpkin truck first birthday is easy to decorate because the farm look is all around in autumn. Stack hay bales by the cake table, set out wooden crates of pumpkins and gourds, and lay buffalo plaid blankets on the ground for guests. A toy blue truck filled with mini pumpkins makes the perfect centerpiece, and a wooden sign that says Our Little Pumpkin is One welcomes guests.
Serve apple cider, cider donuts, caramel apples, pumpkin muffins and a naked cake with tiny pumpkins and wheat on top, with a small smash cake for the birthday boy. Little bags of candy corn or a mini pumpkin for each guest make simple favors.
